Horizon Polymers, LLC was established
in October of 2002 by its current founder and President,
Edward E. Montanye Jr.
Ed has spent more than 15 years in
the polymers industry.
He had previously managed both
international and domestic businesses for Muehlstein and
Pegasus Polymers (former subsidiaries of Mobil Chemical). In
his capacity at Muehlstein, he had handled the sourcing and
sales of over 200 million pounds (approx. 91,000 metric tons)
of plastic and rubber polymers per annum.

Ed has personal experience with
establishing and managing businesses across Asia.
During
his time in Asia, Ed developed extensive links to the top
Asian resin manufacturers as well as large plastics and rubber
fabricators.
Also, through his dealings with Chinese
manufacturers, he became well versed in dealing with various
levels of Chinese government officials.
Ed has lived and
worked in overseas environments for a total of 14 years of his
life. Most recently living in Hong Kong, China, his extensive
knowledge of Asia as well as his fluency in the Chinese
language makes him invaluable to companies looking to
establish a presence in Asia. |
